Canada

My first leg of this world trip started in Canada. Entry point is Vancouver, British Columbia. Stayed at St. Claire's Inn
Season is end of winter, snowstorms still expected.

Side trip to Alaska (via Seattle) - crossing border from Vancouver to Seattle via Quick Shuttle

via the Moose Network, I've travelled from Vancouver > Kelowna > Banff > Jasper.
Stayed in SameSun Backpackers in the first 2 legs and HI for the National Parks.

via Greyhound (5-hour bus ride), I reached Edmonton. Stayed for 3days/2nights @ HI Edmonton. Then stayed with the Perez Family for the remaining days.

from Edmonton to Winnipeg (20-hour bus ride) was a long trip. My first time with WWOOFing. staying at Guest House International Winnipeg for 2 weeks. Then moving to another WWOOFing site at Northern Sun Farm Co Op Manitoba for a week.

From Winnipeg, took the Greyhound bus to Toronto. Make sure to book a little bit in advanced via the web to get cheap fares. Took me almost 2 days to get to Toronto.

from Toronto took a 3 hour flight to St.John's Newfoundland. Stayed at the HI in town and hired a car to go on a road trip. Went along the east coast and then up to Trinity Bay North. Stayed for 2 nights at Skerwink Hostel HI , highly recommended. and also close to the well known Skerwink Trail.

Back in Toronto, stayed with Canadiana Backpackers. Highly Recommended.

via Rail, paid return of $80, to Montreal from Toronto. Click here For some free activities around Montreal

Exit point is Toronto next destination >>>> London. Then starts my Europe Leg.
